After many years as President of the BSL section, Gian Alessi has decided to step down from the Board of Directors and thus place the presidency in new hands. Gian found this decision difficult, but his high expectations of himself in the IGAC could no longer be reconciled with his other commitments. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Gian for his tireless commitment and support, not only in the BSL section but also as Vice President of IG Air Cargo Switzerland. However, Gian will remain with us as a member with Lamprecht Pharma Logistics.

Even though we very much regret Gian’s departure, we are delighted to have found a great replacement in Andreas Behnke (former Vice President of the BSL section) and  Julia Weinheimer (Board Member) as the new designated Vice President. We are sure that IGAC BSL will continue to celebrate many more successes under the new leadership team.

This change also has an impact on today’s EXCOM team. Andreas will be appointed Vice President of IGAC Switzerland and Julia will join the EXCOM as a new Board Member.
